Repairing much better than replace
Every part inside our body created specially for us. Even twin brother body part don’t have same in term identical, if one don’t work then you use other to replace because nature of the body parts for reject unknown stuff. Using this philosophy I can understand why so many person in this world who get disease trying hard to reduce their pain using ‘repair’ intention. If possible to keep the teeth they pretend to keep it than remove it.
My lecture in university has problem with his heart and already take operation two times, all for his heart. Heart is very special since this magnificent organ work from our pre-birth till now, as long as we live we count our live with this organ. My lecture unfortunately don’t have chance to repair his mitral valve since the technology itself not mature and only available in specific hospital.
Many research made in term making better solution in cardiac surgeons, one of them is mitral valve surgery. University Maryland via their Heart Center proofed their work by high rate of successful in mitral valve repair. As seen from chart, other process which is using mitral valve replacement still in use too. If possible try to repair it because repair method have survival rate, more resist from stroke problem and less treatment with blood thinners.
